Hello, friends!
We are thrilled to welcome several new families who will be joining us in the fall semester. We couldn’t be happier to share our story with you.
This week, we are diving into Project-Based Learning (PBL), one of three pillars of our methodology. To us, PBL isn’t just a teaching method; it’s a way of connecting learners to the real world. Instead of memorizing facts for a quiz, our learners are tackling complex questions, collaborating like professionals, and building solutions that matter. But how do we know they’ve truly mastered the material? That brings us to the most vital part of the process: Presentations of Learning (POLs). Read on to learn more about them!
Do you know someone who might be interested in pursuing their high school diploma at EGHS? We are currently enrolling for this school year and next. You can get started today by filling out our Intent to Enroll form.
If you have any questions for our team anytime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to info@empowergenerations.org or 661-429-3264. And be sure to follow us on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to stay connected!
With gratitude,
Sajae Davison
School Director
P.S. Do you know a community member who might want to partner with us? Forward this message to them. We’re always looking for new partners who can support our learners at Empower Generations High School!
