2025 School Year Begins Soon! Key Dates and Information

Dear Empower Generations High School Families,

We hope that you have been enjoying the summer and have made many happy memories. We are looking forward to seeing all of our returning and new learners Tuesday, August 12, for the first day of school! Below are a few important dates to mark on your calendar. As always, we are here to support you, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. 

School Hours

School doors open at 8:00 AM. All learners should be picked up no later than 15 minutes after the school day ends.

  • Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM

    • Drop off no earlier than 8:00 AM.

    • Pick up no later than 3:30 PM.

  • Friday: 8:30 AM to noon

    • Drop off no earlier than 8:00 AM.

    • Pick up no later than 12:15 PM.

Important Dates to Remember

Meet the Village: Friday, August 8, at 5:00-6:30 PM

All learners and families, please join us at Empower Generations High School (44236 10th Street West, Ste. 105, Lancaster, CA ) for our mandatory back-to-school event, Meet the Village, where you’ll sign your Master Agreement, pick up your school-issued laptop and your schedule, learn about sports offered, and more. Learners, please be sure to arrive camera-ready, as our photographer from Barksdale will be taking your photo for your student ID and yearbook. Refreshments will be served.

First Day of School: Tuesday, August 12

School doors open at 8:00 AM, and school begins at 8:30 AM.

School Closed for Labor Day: Monday, September 1

Communication

ParentSquare

Please make sure that you have activated your ParentSquare account. Important reminders and information regarding school emergencies and events will be relayed through this system. ParentSquare emails home and will also send notifications to your phone if you download the app:  http://parentsquare.com/signin. We recommend enabling text notifications so that you can receive up-to-date information, including notifications when your learners do not log in.

Monday Message and School Website

The Monday Message is sent out each week to all of our families. It includes upcoming events, pictures of learners, updates, and other pertinent information regarding school activities. 

You can subscribe to the Monday Message by entering your email in our email sign-up window in the footer of our website:  empowergenerations.org.

Social Media

Empower Generations has three social media platforms for families and friends to access. Our Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook accounts are constantly updated with pictures of our learners and descriptions of the learning process. Please check out our  Instagram,  TikTok, and  Facebook!
