Be the Change You Want to See
Mr. Isaac’s Workshop #2 is in full swing. This week we will be looking at songs and speeches and how they can be used to spread awareness about a topic. We will be looking at metaphors and similes as well as figurative language. With regards to speeches, we will be going over MLK’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech and seeing its short-term and long-term effects on people and social movements. Be sure to tune in to class to participate and enjoy learning about change.
