Empower Generations High School Joins “You Are Enough” Walk
In honor of AV Mental Health Awareness Day, on Saturday, October 5, Empower Generations High School staff and learners were proud to walk alongside the Erick A. Garcia “You Are Enough” Foundation at Poncitlán Square in Palmdale.
This free community event featured mental health resources, therapy dogs, and delicious food trucks, and our team provided goodie bags. We were proud to walk together to raise awareness, offer hope, and remind one another that “You Are Enough.”
The “You Are Enough” Foundation bridges the gap between individuals and mental health resources. Their mission is to connect individuals with vital mental health resources while promoting education, awareness, and support. Through workshops, outreach, local events and wellness programs, the foundation provides the community with tools to better understand mental health, prevent suicide, and foster healing.
