Empower Generations High School Staff Spotlight on Mister Tee

At Empower Generations High School, we’re fortunate to have a team of dedicated facilitators who bring a diverse set of skills and passions to our learners. This week, we’re shining the spotlight on one of our talented CTE facilitators, Mr. Dougie Fresh—or as the learners affectionately call him, Mister Tee!

Please tell us about your background and how you came to be at Empower Generations.

In a previous life, I was a jury consultant, and then I took my talents to the world of podcast production. Education has always been close to my heart, and before joining Empower Generations, I worked at a Montessori Elementary School.

What is your role at Empower Generations? What’s the best part about it? What’s the biggest challenge?

I am a CTE facilitator, and I love showing the learners how to bring their creative ideas to life through the use of digital multimedia.

What do you LOVE about Empower Generations? What sets it apart from other schools?

The learners!

Being an active listener is key to being a great leader.
