Listen Up! Empower Generations Mic’d Up First-Ever Podcast

In the 2025-26 school year, Empower Generations High School launched Mic’d Up, a CTE pathway designed to develop learners’ marketable skills in video and audio production. Empower Generations High Schoolers enrolled in the pathway had the unique opportunity to create a variety of projects showcasing their talents, ending the year with a culminating project of their own design.

One of those projects was Empower Generations’ first-ever podcast. EG’s Foodies Podcast welcomes us into a lighthearted conversation between Tony and Kendrick about favorite foods and what foods they’d delete from the world if they could.

Hosted, directed, filmed, and edited by Mic’d Up learners, this project hits the spot! Take a look and see what our learners have created. 

We are incredibly proud of Tony for launching Mic’d Up’s very first podcast episode as his culminating showcase project. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!
