Message from the Director
Dear Learners and Families,
What’s happening at EG?
iLEAD Online classes have begun! Learners are working on a variety of iLEAD Online classes and are already creating pieces demonstrating what they have learned. Some learners are writing a 5-paragraph essay on the resources available in our community, while others are creating beautiful sketches and pieces of art.
This week’s workshop was our “Love Fest” Community Day. Learners participated in activity stations including a “Love Letter” activity, a “Love Wall” mural, a craft gift creation, a picture station, as well lots of food, fun, and laughter.
In addition, twelve brave Empower learners have started rehearsal for choir.
For Child Development this week, we are focusing on defining the different types of play. Learners will be encouraged to reflect on the different types of play by creating a story about one type of play they can most relate to, or one that caught their interest.
Learners, please reach out on days that you are absent. My direct line is (661) 537-3719.
Sha’Kirim “Sha’Ki” Brown
