With Mid-Fall Break over and LP2 ending, a time for a new beginning arrives. Use this opportunity to stick to those goals you set, set new habits, and emerge into this final stretch anew and evolved. Every day is an opportunity to put all the bad behind you and begin on a new path. This is our final stretch to the end of the semester, it’s time to strap down and finish strong, take those first steps to change so you can GROW!
Change comes whether we want it or not, but we can either be swept up by the tides or batten down the hatches and sail to the horizon.

Happy Monday! This week begins the second half of your semester. All of the work you have/have not done will count toward your final grade at the end of the semester. If you feel like you have not given your best this school year, don’t fret. Every day is an opportunity to just get better. You are the only one who can change your life.
We will begin new topics in the sciences and we will continue working on our Garden Planning Project. Thanks to this project – I am starting a new garden of my own. I am super excited to grow this winter garden and to plan and share along with you!
Please begin to think about how important you are to those around you and how what you do and who you are can change or influence someone’s life as well as how others can influence or change you.
Ms. Tanya – Guide

Hello and Happy Monday!!
As a learner, you face new beginnings multiple times a year. There is the start of a new school year, a new semester, a new quarter, and so many firsts. New beginnings mean we need to say goodbye to some things in your life and make room for the new. We are at the start of a new workshop as of today. This gives you the chance to set some goals to accomplish within this workshop. Take advantage of this new beginning.
Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
Set your frame of mind to be focused and sponge like to absorb and learn familiar but new material. Have a great week!!

Welcome back to the new chapter of the academic semester! I hope you all are ready to start the new learning cycle with a fresh slate. Perhaps you missed opportunities for growth and improvement last semester, but I believe in second chances. However, you must be able to admit your mistakes, learn from them, and do things differently moving forward. If you need help or guidance, do not forget that every staff member is here to assist you in becoming better at what you believe you cannot do or even starting and finishing something. We are here for YOU.

So it looks like our learning period is ending and we’re about to enter into a new learning period. Each of us now are given a blank slate and are given another opportunity to show our guides exactly what we’re made of and our determination to succeed. Our success however does not begin with our guides or staff, it all begins with you guys, use your time here wisely.
