Arts and Activism: Inspiring Change

empower-generations-chalk-art-activism

Our Advisory activism unit has started! We began by researching current activists and writing them thank-you letters. Next, we will be taking weekly dives into social movements of the 20th century, from the Feminist Art Movement of the 1940s all the way to the Black Lives Matter Movement of today!

Each week will include an art lesson, an activism analysis, and an art/algebra connection! These weekly components will support Advisory small groups as we design a mural to inspire change in our own community!

You are the change-makers. We can’t wait to see how you shape the world!
