This Week in the Village: End of 2016-2017 School Year

graduation

Learners/Families: if you have NOT had an end of year exit conference, please contact us immediately! We need to check your laptop and charger, debrief the year, and sign paperwork for next year. This is essential.

We have officially concluded our 2016-2017 founding school year. What a joyful journey it has been to grow Empower Generations from the ground up. We cannot express the amount of gratitude we have for our founding families and community members that have created the culture of Empower Generations. You set the bar high! We look forward to building on this momentum for the next school year, and we have some AMAZING surprises planned to better support learners, babies, and families. We are partnering with an organization to bring in mindfulness and resiliency building as part of an updated and innovating advisory and English curriculum. We are offering school lunch on campus Monday-Thursday. And we are moving to a bigger site to better accommodate our growing school. Each week this summer, the Monday Message will feature a new initiative coming up. Stay tuned!

Did you know that while we give priority admission to pregnant/parenting teenagers, we also serve non-pregnant/parenting teenagers? Now is the time to enroll for the 2017-2018 school year.

Summer Group Time! Although we will not be holding official summer school this summer, we are offering time and space to come in, connect, and work on self-study projects. Join Tasheba each Tuesday from 9:30-3:30 starting June 27th.

Thank you again for such a wonderful year. We look forward to good things!

With Love,
The Empower Village
