This week in the village: Transition to Semester Two

Welcome baby Ezra into the Empower Family. Born last week weighing 9.5 pounds and measuring 22 inches, this little babe is already so loved and well-cared for. We are proud of his mom for working hard to finish semester 1 before going into labor!

We transition to Semester 2. This means that all learners must take their MAP assessment, meet with Allison to complete their Individualized Learning Plan, and begin Semester 2 coursework.

This semester, learners will work in 1-month learning periods to complete assignments and projects. After each learning period, learners will receive a progress report and plan their next learning period.
