Hello, families!
October is already here, and maybe some cooler weather will fall upon us soon! The fall season also means seniors are beginning to think about which colleges to apply for as they complete their last year of high school. In addition, the FAFSA opened October 1, so please make sure to fill out the application if you’re planning to attend a four-year college or a community college. More detailed information was sent via ParentSquare last week.
Also, seniors: Don’t miss our virtual Senior Sunrise Friday, October 9, at 6:30 AM. Bring paper and pen with you!
Our projects are well on their way with Mock Elections, Monsters in Film, Financial Literacy, and some cool at-home science experiments! Just a reminder that learners need to log into their Advisory Zooms every day as well as their synchronous sessions two days a week. Asynchronous sessions are also learning opportunities for learners to get additional support from the staff as well as work on assignments in their Google Classroom.
Have a great week!
With gratitude,
Malaka Donovan
