Time to Relax

As the school year winds down, we are doing two things: (1) relaxing and unwinding and (2) wrapping up this year’s learning.

To unwind and relax, during advisory we are playing games such as Guess the Song, Pictionary, Scattergories, and random trivia games.

During this time, learners will also present their Showcases of Learning. This is a chance for learners to reflect on their year, what they learned, and how they grew. They can invite friends and family to watch their presentations as well. This is also a time for them to come together and discuss their thoughts and feelings about what is going on in the world right now. This is a place for them to share as we are all supportive of each other’s feelings and thoughts and, even when we don’t agree, the learners and staff are respectful of each other’s opinions.
