Art and Activism!

empower-generations-chalk-art-activism

Art makes us human. It is a reflection of our deeper selves and a universal connection to others. Through music, pictures, and dance, we speak our truths. Empower Generations invites you to explore your truth and self through three different art opportunities.

Opportunity 1: Advisory

All Advisory classes are beginning a six-week journey to explore how artists amplified change during the social movements of the 20th century. We will be studying art techniques and artists of each movement as we design our own murals to inspire community change.

Learners, please contact your advisor with any questions.

Opportunity 2: iPERFORM

iPERFORM meets Thursday afternoons at 2:15. iPERFORM is a space to learn performance techniques and use them to tell your story. In iPERFORM, we control our narrative to determine our futures. Come connect with professional artists and fellow learners.

Please direct any questions to questions@everydayarts.org.

Opportunity 3: Creation Station

Creation Station, our visual arts club, meets Fridays at noon. In this space, we practice techniques for expressing ourselves through visual media, such as drawing and paint. We will also begin planning our Winter Art Gala soon! Join us to make your voice heard.

If you have any questions, please email jeanette.chadwick@empowergenerations.org.
