Budgeting Basics

In Ms. Tanya’s workshop, learners are working on applying basic math principles to real-life financial applications. We are learning how to make change and calculating how much we are saving when items are on sale. Learners are conducting a case analysis of several individuals’ sources of income and expenses as well as evaluating their budgets. In each case, the individual is asking the question, “Can I afford this?”
