Empower Generations All Arts Showcase

To celebrate the start of summer and learner voices, Empower Generations learners gathered on Thursday, June 15, for an All Arts Showcase.

The event opened with visual arts learners sharing their favorite piece from this semester. Learners explained how the piece represented their artistic voice and how it helped them develop a personal definition of art.

Theatre arts learners took the stage next to perform a series of monologues, short scenes, and sonnets. Throughout the semester, learners worked to explore confidence and self-expression, which culminated in their sharecase.

Finally, music learners closed the event with a rhythm circle led by the director of O Studios, Mr. Oliver. Learners demonstrated their mastery of new beats and working together to create a song.
