This semester Ms. Jennifer will be helping learners build their skills in English, reading, and comprehension, as well as their knowledge of history and social justice issues through graphic novels and videos. All the readings will have a focus on social justice, prejudice, and minorities in history. Learners will have a chance to see the lesser-known parts of history through the stories in the novels as well as being asked to become more aware of the world around them and the issues we face as citizens of the world.
