Meet Mr. Steve, Instructional Specialist at Empower Generations

We’re thrilled to introduce Mr. Steve Greene, an Educational Specialist at Empower Generations. With a career that includes teaching in South Korea and serving as an athletic director, Steve brings a wealth of experience and passion to our team. Let’s get to know Mr. Steve!
Q: Please tell us about your background and how you came to be at Empower Generations.
Mr. Steve: I received my bachelor’s degree in physical education, then earned a master’s degree in business. I’ve had experience teaching at the high school level, and I also had the opportunity to teach elementary in South Korea. Previously, I was an athletic director for a nonprofit. I made the decision to move to California to be closer to family. Empower Generations gave me an opportunity to fulfill my passion.
Q: What are you most excited about as you enter your role at Empower Generations?
Mr. Steve: I’m excited about making an impact on the people around me.
Q: Please name three to five fun/interesting facts about you. Extra credit for lots of details.
Mr. Steve:
- I can read and spell in Korean.
- I’ve been in a Korean film that was displayed in theaters.
- I’ve gone skydiving.
We look forward to the valuable contributions Mr. Steve will bring to both our learners and staff!
