Message from the Director
Dear Learners and Families,
What’s happening at EG?
Last week, I attended the California Charter School Association (CCSA) conference in Sacramento. I experienced several sessions on Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Charter School Laws, and Supporting Online Learners. I also supported charter schools by demonstrating in front of the State Capitol, with over 8,000 charter school educators, administrators, students, and families, as they marched and rallied to urge the Legislature to fully fund networks and to support proposals that advance charter opportunities.
Meanwhile, EG staff worked on creating an awesome SEL calendar specifically for Empower Generation learners.
Learners, please reach out on days that you are absent. My direct line is (661) 537-3719.
