Messages from Our Team

Empower Generations messages from our staff

Please see below for messages from our staff to you!

Ms. Rosiey: Office Manager:

Kobe Bryant quoteIt takes a village, and we are glad we are part of yours! We are all available throughout the year to help with questions that families and learners may have.

Here are some updates for the week:

  • No School on Monday September 4th in observance of Labor Day!
  • Don’t forget to download the ParentSquare App. This is the best way to ensure you get school communication promptly.

Mr. Twigg: Education Specialist:

Hopefully your first week of classes were enjoyable! Your most important task at the start of this week is to check what assignments you have not yet completed and prioritize getting those done when you go home. Remember the most common cause of stress in learners is being overwhelmed with late assignments, so get them done now so they don’t pile up! Starting strong can set your pace for the whole year!

Ms. Marian: Guide/Advisor:

This past week flew by. We have already experienced triumphs and challenges. I want to give a special shoutout to you all because you persevered through challenges and continued to be amazing learners. I look forward to this week, hoping everyone is feeling strong.

Ms. Tanya: Guide/Advisor:

Hello, learners! It was a pleasure getting to know our new learners and spending time with our returning learners last week! We learned so much already! We practiced parts of speech, learned about World War I, practiced new vocabulary, discussed the beginnings of United States history, and began exploring the world of personal finance! I want to encourage all of you to complete any missing assignments from last week so that you can focus on new learning this week! If you have not begun to engage with your classes, please reach out to me or Ms. T-C to get you started! I look forward to many wonderful discussions and new learning opportunities! Have a great week!

Mr. Troy: Care Team & CTE Guide:

Hello, everyone! Hope everyone’s first week of classes was productive! Remember to accept your Google Classroom invitation. If you are in my culinary class but have not received your invitation, if you can, please come to campus on Mondays and Wednesdays to attend the class in person. I understand that isn’t always an option, so if you’re unable to attend in person, please send me an email and I will invite you ASAP. Have a great week!

Ms. Dani: Care Team & CTE Guide:

Hello, learners!

I hope you started off strong working in your Google classes! If not, that’s OK. Be sure to accept all your classes you see in the Google Classroom dashboard and get with your guides and advisory guide to understand what you need to do. Remember: Completing a year of high school takes grit, focus, and goal setting. I believe in you! It’s time you believe in yourself too! Have a great week!
