What I Wish I’d Learned in School: Résumés
Learners in Ms. Tanya’s workshops are diligently working on developing their résumés. Why have a résumé in high school, you may ask? It sets learners apart from one another, it demonstrates responsibility, it highlights ambition, and it’s helpful for letters of recommendation and job applications. By reading through their completed résumés, learners may gain insight into what makes them so unique and different from other students. After their résumés are fully developed, it will be easier for learners to tailor and edit them for different job opportunities or for college applications.
