English Language Arts: Conflict and Resolution

pexels-rahul-shah-1031588

Ms. Jennifer’s class has begun reading our novels. We’ve been looking into the path the stories will take and what conflicts the characters may run into. We’ve been journaling what we’re reading as well.

This week we will be talking about what conflict and resolution mean to us and how reaching a resolution can be hard. Then we will learn to identify a conflict in a story. The focus will be on fictional conflicts, but we will be using real-life issues and examples so learners can more completely understand the conflict in the stories.
