Learner of the Week: Reynita
Learner of the Week: Reynita and baby Samantha. Reynita wants to work with animals as a career and works hard to be the best mother she can be to Samantha. She models compassion, kindness, and fun to her baby and her peers.
We have our 1st Community Night on Thursday! We also have Individualized Learning Plans, Fall Harvest Festival planning, and some fantastic projects being finished up. Our learners each received a Passion Planner to help with long-term and short-term goal setting and time management skills. Using the 7 Habits, learners are doing a great job balancing school, personal life, and parenting.
Community Night
Thursday, October 6th 6-8pm
Join us for our monthly community night. We will share some light snacks, enjoy community, and engage in our theme: Begin with the End in Mind, from our work with the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families. Community nights are open to everyone: learners, family, volunteers, staff, and community! Bring a friend.
No School October 10th-14th.
Our staff are sharpening the saw in a week of professional development and collaboration. The learning studio will be closed the week; however, learners will continue to work from home in online classes and personal projects.
